Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Ribbon. Last updated November 2, 2026.
By using Ribbon you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Ribbon.
Who can use Ribbon
You need to be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You can make profiles for children or others in your care, and you’re responsible for what you add about them.
Your account
Keep your Apple ID secure; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
What you share
Your lists, photos, messages and everything else you add stay yours. You give Ribbon permission to store them and show them to the people you share them with, only to run the app. Share only what you have the right to share.
Be kind
Don’t use Ribbon to:
- harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or share anything illegal, hateful or sexual;
- share someone’s private information without their permission;
- send spam, or invite people who don’t want to be invited;
- break, overload or get around how Ribbon works, or reach information that isn’t meant for you.
You can block people and report anything that breaks these rules. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.
Gifts and stores
Ribbon helps you plan gifts; it doesn’t sell them. When you follow a link you buy from that store, on its terms. Prices, stock and details come from the stores and from the people who added them, and may be out of date. Marking a gift as held or bought is a note to your family, not an order.
Ribbon itself
Ribbon is offered as it is. While it’s in testing, features will change, and something may break or be lost; we’ll do our best to tell you first. We may change or stop parts of Ribbon, and update these terms; if a change matters, we’ll say so in the app before it takes effect.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Ribbon is provided without warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, for what other people share, or for purchases you make at stores. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Apple
These terms are between you and Ribbon, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Ribbon or its support, and Apple’s standard terms for apps also apply to your use of Ribbon on an Apple device.
